DAY 1: INTRODUCTION TO LIFTING OPERATIONS & RIGGING FUNDAMENTALS
DAY 2: LIFT PLANNING, SIGNALING AND SAFE LIFT EXECUTION
DAY 3: ADVANCED RIGGING OPERATIONS, CRITICAL LIFTS & PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
Safe lifting operations are critical in construction, oil and gas, marine, and industrial environments where cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment are used. Improper rigging or poor communication between the rigger and banksman can lead to catastrophic incidents including dropped loads, equipment damage, injuries, and fatalities.
This 3-day Rigger & Banksman Training provides participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to safely plan, execute, control, and communicate lifting operations in compliance with international lifting standards and workplace safety requirements.
The course emphasizes lifting theory, crane operations awareness, sling selection, load calculation, signaling techniques, lifting plans, and practical rigging exercises.
