Getting started
The Permit to Work (PTW) system is a formal written system used to control high-risk activities and ensure that hazards are properly identified, assessed, and controlled before work begins. It is a cornerstone of safe operations in high-risk industries such as oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, utilities, and maintenance operations.
This intensive 1-day training equips participants with practical knowledge and skills to understand, implement, manage, and enforce PTW systems in compliance with international standards such as ISO 45001, OSHA guidelines, and industry best practices (including oil & gas PTW frameworks).
Participants will learn how permits integrate with Risk Assessment, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and toolbox talks.
