DAY 3
Gas testing is a critical safety requirement for confined space entry, hot work operations, maintenance activities, shutdowns, and hazardous industrial environments. Incorrect or incomplete gas testing can lead to fatal incidents such as explosions, oxygen deficiency, and toxic exposure.
This 2–3 day Authorized Gas Tester (AGT) Training equips participants with the knowledge and hands-on competence to safely detect, measure, interpret, and control atmospheric hazards using calibrated gas detection instruments.
The course emphasizes confined space safety, atmospheric testing procedures, gas detector calibration awareness, interpretation of readings, and permit-to-work compliance systems, aligned with international industrial safety standards.
TARGET AUDIENCE
- HSE Officers and Supervisors
