Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) is a critical survival training designed for personnel who travel offshore by helicopter, particularly in the oil and gas industry, marine operations, and offshore installations.
The course prepares participants to respond effectively in the event of a helicopter emergency over water, including ditching (forced landing on water), capsizing, underwater escape, and survival until rescue.
Training includes theoretical instruction, safety procedures, emergency drills, and realistic underwater escape simulations using HUET training simulators.
This course aligns with international offshore safety standards such as OPITO HUET and offshore survival best practices.
